Two-Vehicle Crashes in Mobile
Two-vehicle crashes are among the most common types of accidents in Mobile. While some result in minor property damage, others cause serious injuries
Overturned vehicles, like the one in this crash, often suggest a strong impact. Rollover crashes are especially dangerous because they increase the risk of head trauma, spinal cord injuries, and broken bones. Even when one driver avoids harm, the other party may still face significant medical challenges. Victims may require hospital stays, surgery, or physical therapy.
The costs of treatment can create a heavy burden. Families may struggle with ambulance bills, ER visits, and ongoing rehabilitation. If the injured person cannot work, lost wages add even more stress. Insurance companies sometimes offer settlements that fail to cover the true extent of these losses. That’s why many victims choose to work with personal injury attorneys who can fight for fair compensation.
Attorneys who handle car accident cases in Alabama understand the local laws and challenges. One key factor is Alabama’s contributory negligence rule. If a driver is found even slightly at fault, they may be denied compensation. Because of this, legal representation can make the difference between receiving financial help and being left with overwhelming bills.
A Mobile car accident lawyer can investigate the crash, gather police reports, speak with witnesses, and consult experts. They also handle negotiations with insurance companies, ensuring victims are not pressured into low settlements. Compensation can cover medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and future care needs.
Mobile sees many car crashes each year due to heavy traffic on major routes like Government St, I-65, and US-90. Distracted driving, speeding, and failure to yield are frequent causes. Even when one driver acts responsibly, another’s negligence can cause serious harm.
