Talladega, AL (June 12, 2025) – A deadly collision occurred Monday evening, June 9, on Highway 21 in Talladega County. Benjamin A. Ricks, 29, from Eastoboga, was driving near mile marker 241 around 7:35 p.m. when his vehicle collided head-on with a tractor-trailer.
Emergency responders arrived quickly but pronounced Ricks dead at the scene. The Alabama Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash to determine the exact cause. Authorities have not released further details.
