Andalusia, AL (June 17, 2025) – A 21-year-old man from Louisiana died early Monday, June 15, following a two-motorcycle crash in Covington County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Jackson R. Poole of Youngsville was riding a motorcycle on County Road 102 around 2:00 a.m. when his vehicle struck the back of another motorcycle. The crash happened about 10 miles south of Andalusia.
Poole was rushed to Andalusia Health with critical injuries. Due to the severity of his condition, he was later flown to HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. Tragically, he was pronounced dead after arrival. The driver of the second motorcycle also sustained injuries. They were treated at Andalusia Health.
Authorities are still investigating what caused the motorcycles to collide.
