Marengo Co, AL – Roderick Grayson Killed in Fatal Crash on Hwy 10

Marengo Co, AL (December 7, 2024) – A fatal car crash occurred on December 5, tragically claiming the life of one man and leaving another individual with serious injuries. The collision took place around 8:15 p.m. on Alabama Highway 10, approximately four miles west of Sweet Water.  

According to Alabama State Troopers, Roderick Grayson, 35, of Sweet Water, was driving a car that collided with the car of Desondria Norwood, 24, also of Sweet Water. Grayson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency medical responders transported Norwood via air ambulance to a Mobile hospital, where she is being treated for severe injuries. 

Firefighters arrived promptly to assist in the extrication of the vehicles, while troopers and first responders managed traffic flow to maintain safety at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
