Lawrence Co, AL (December 25, 2024) – A fatal car crash occurred early on Christmas morning in Lawrence County, claiming the life of 28-year-old Kaelin M. Simpson from Hillsboro. The accident, reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), took place at approximately 12:45 a.m. on AL 20, near Lawrence County 434, about one mile north of Hillsboro.
According to ALEA, Simpson was driving a 2004 Honda Accord when he collided head-on with a 2002 Lexus LX470 driven by 44-year-old Ziyad M. Al-Dabashi.
