Cherokee Co, AL (December 18, 2024) – A fatal semi-truck crash occurred in Cherokee County on Tuesday, claiming the life of 20-year-old Drakken T. Graham, a resident of Collinsville. The incident, reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), took place on U.S. 411 near the 252-mile marker, approximately eight miles east of Centre.
According to ALEA, the crash occurred when the car in which Drakken T. Graham was a passenger was struck by a semi-truck. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and worked to extract both drivers from the wreckage. The driver of the passenger vehicle and the passenger in the truck were both transported to a hospital in Rome, Georgia, with serious injuries. Unfortunately, Drakken T. Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.
