Gaylesville, AL – Boy Fatally Hit in ATV Crash on AL-35

Gaylesville, AL (April 6, 2024) – On Wednesday, April 3, there were fatal injuries after a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle in the Gaylesville area. The fatal accident was reported at the 3100 block of AL-35 that afternoon around 4 p.m. A juvenile was riding an ATV on Wallace Avenue when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render aid. The boy was later dispatched to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The deceased victim has not been identified. The area was temporarily closed while authorities worked to clear the scene. No additional information on the deadly accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
