Mobile, AL (December 12, 2025) – Two people were injured in a police pursuit that ended in a crash Friday night, December 13, near Dauphin Street and Catherine Street.

According to Mobile Police, the pursuit began around 9 p.m. when officers tried to stop a car between Government and Dauphin Streets. Instead of pulling over, the driver sped away, leading officers on a short chase through downtown. Moments later, the suspect’s car slammed into a police vehicle and another driver’s car near Dauphin and Catherine Streets. The impact forced the second car off the road and into a nearby home.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found both the suspect and the other driver hurt. Paramedics treated the injured individuals at the scene. Authorities confirmed that no officers were hurt in the collision.

The suspect continued for about a block before stopping near South Catherine Street and Blair Avenue, where officers arrested the driver. Investigators spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence, documenting the damage, and speaking with witnesses. The investigation remains ongoing.
