Greenville, AL (December 16, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle collision claimed the life of a young man on Monday afternoon in Butler County. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirmed the crash occurred on Monday, December 15, along Highway 10 just west of Greenville. Troopers said the collision happened at approximately 4:20 p.m. when two vehicles collided head-on under circumstances that remain under review.

Authorities identified the victim as Joseph Alexander Halford, a 21-year-old man from Florida. Halford was traveling as a passenger in one of the involved vehicles at the time of the crash.
