Mobile, AL (November 2, 2025) – Four people suffered injuries on Saturday, November 1, in a hit-and-run crash involving a black pickup truck and a red SUV on Moffett Road near Forest Cove Drive in Mobile.
The collision happened around 5:00 p.m. when the pickup slammed into the rear of the SUV. The violent impact crushed the rear of the SUV, scattering debris and glass across the roadway.
Medics treated four occupants of the SUV at the scene before transporting them for additional medical evaluation. Witnesses said the black pickup sped away immediately after the crash, heading westbound on Moffett Road.
Paramedics arrived within minutes and provided aid to four victims at the scene before taking them for further medical treatment. Police officers closed part of the road to clear debris and document evidence. Witnesses said the black pickup sped off westbound on Moffett Road immediately after the collision.
Detectives are now reviewing nearby surveillance footage and searching for the driver responsible for this hit-and-run. The victims continue to recover as the investigation remains active.
