Two-Vehicle Accidents in Conecuh County
Two-vehicle crashes are one of the most common types of roadway accidents in Alabama. Even when these collisions happen at
Many of these crashes are caused by distracted driving, speeding, or failing to yield. On major highways like I-65, heavy traffic and high speeds increase the chances of a serious wreck. When two vehicles collide, the impact often results in broken bones, head injuries, or spinal cord damage. In some cases, passengers face long recoveries that involve surgery, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care.
Victims of these accidents may also face financial struggles. Hospital bills can add up quickly, especially if the injured person is unable to return to work right away. Insurance companies often try to limit payouts, which can make it difficult for victims to cover their expenses. This is where a personal injury lawyer can step in to provide support.
For families, the aftermath of an accident often brings not only physical and financial challenges but also emotional stress. Having a knowledgeable legal advocate can help ease some of that burden. With professional guidance, victims can focus on recovery while their attorney handles the legal process.
In Alabama, personal injury laws can be complex. The state follows contributory negligence rules, meaning that if an injured person is found even slightly at fault, they may not be able to recover damages. This makes it especially important for victims to work with a lawyer who understands how to build a strong case.
An accomplished car accident attorney can review the circumstances of the crash, gather evidence, and determine who was at fault. They also negotiate with insurance adjusters to seek fair compensation. Compensation may include medical bills, lost income, future treatment, and even pain and suffering. For those who have suffered long-term or permanent injuries, our attorneys at Maloney-Lyons can also pursue damages for loss of future earning capacity.
