Monroeville, AL (June 19, 2025) – A man from Monroeville died, and two other people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash near Frisco City on Wednesday, June 18.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that the crash happened around 5:10 p.m. on Hwy 21, just north of Monroeville in Monroe County. Authorities say 65-year-old Stanley Harris was driving a Toyota Corolla when it collided with a Nissan Frontier.
Harris was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people inside the Nissan suffered injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials have not shared the names of the injured individuals or the extent of their injuries. The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed. State troopers are continuing their investigation into what led to the deadly collision.
