Colbert Co, AL (June 23, 2025) – A young man lost his life in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday, June 22, in Colbert County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash happened around 7:20 p.m. on Jarmon Lane near Jarmon Trail. Jaheim Q. Greene, age 23, was riding a 2013 Honda CRF450R motorcycle when it collided with a 2022 Ford Mustang driven by an 18-year-old.
Due to the crash, Greene was thrown from the motorcycle. Officials confirmed that he was not wearing a helmet at the time. Emergency crews rushed him to North Alabama Regional Hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Mustang did not suffer reported injuries. Authorities have not released any further details about the events leading up to the collision.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the incident.
