Cottonwood, AL (May 28, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a report of a person hit by a tractor near Willie Varnum Rd and Zachary Rd, just north of Cottonwood.
The incident occurred early Monday, May 26. Units arrived on the scene shortly after 1 p.m. and found one person injured. According to initial reports, the victim suffered a deep cut and may have injured their leg. The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed, and the identity of the victim has not been released.
Authorities have not shared what led to the incident or if any other individuals were involved. Paramedics treated the injured person on site before transporting them to a nearby medical facility. Their current condition remains unknown.
