Bessemer, AL (March 12, 2025) – A fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Bessemer, claiming the life of 55-year-old Jerry Alan Gill from Hueytown. The incident, reported by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, happened in the 7900 block of Lock 17 Rd.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Jerry Alan Gill was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a car. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and paramedics confirmed that Gill was severely injured. Despite efforts to stabilize him, he was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital. The driver of the car involved in the collision sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene.
