Florence, AL (January 7, 2025) – An injury car crash occurred on Monday, January 6, involving an off-duty Florence Police Department (FPD) officer. The collision happened on Cloyd Boulevard near Mall Road at approximately 3:30 p.m., according to the Florence Police Department. Authorities identified one of the drivers as Florence Police Officer Danny Hines, who was off-duty and driving his car at the time.
