Linda Thrasher, a passenger in the Murano, was rushed by ambulance to Elmore County Hospital in Wetumpka, where she later passed away due to her injuries. James Thrasher, the driver of the Murano, was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, though the severity of his injuries remains unknown.

Local fire departments responded to the scene to assist in the extraction of the victims from the wreckage, while law enforcement worked to control traffic and ensure the area was cleared.
