Madison Co, AL (October 22, 2024) – An injury multi-car crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Jeff Rd and McKee Rd, involving six individuals, including one child. The incident, reported by Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue, took place around 3:30 p.m.

According to Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue President Heath Jones, three cars were involved in the collision. Emergency services responded promptly, transporting two adults to a nearby hospital for treatment. Additionally, two children involved in the accident were assessed for injuries, though their conditions remain stable.

The crash resulted in one vehicle striking the exterior of a nearby daycare facility. Fortunately, all occupants, including children and staff members, were accounted for and reported uninjured. However, due to damage to one of the daycare’s exterior walls, an inspector from Madison County’s Building Inspections Department has been requested to evaluate the situation.

Emergency responders worked efficiently to control traffic and assist those involved. Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue and local law enforcement managed the scene to ensure safety for all, including the children nearby.
