Henager, AL (April 19, 2024) – One person was killed and another was hurt after a crash involving a school bus and another vehicle outside of Henager on Thursday, April 18. The accident was reported on AL-40 in DeKalb County early that morning. Local reports revealed that a DeKalb County school bus collided with a passenger car.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. The driver of the bus suffered minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No students were on board the bus at the time of the impact.
