Mobile, AL (July 1, 2025) – A vehicle pursuit involving Mobile Police ended in a crash last Monday, June 30, leaving two people with minor injuries.
According to the Mobile Police Department, the incident began when officers attempted a traffic stop on St Stephens Road near Lacey Street. The driver, now identified as 43-year-old Kendrick Randolph of Prichard, refused to stop and led police on a pursuit.
The chase ended when Randolph’s vehicle collided with another SUV at the W Lee St exit near I-65. Two individuals inside the SUV sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police later arrested Randolph and charged him with multiple offenses. These include attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, possession of marijuana, trafficking fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
Authorities have not released the names of the individuals injured in the crash. Their current condition is unknown, but officials have confirmed the injuries were not life-threatening.
This incident remains under active investigation as police work to determine all the factors that led to the chase and crash.
