Huntsville, AL – Man Dies in Accident at Huntsville Granite & Marble

Huntsville, AL (March 30, 2024) – On Wednesday, March 27, a man was killed following an industrial accident at a local business in the Huntsville area. The deadly accident took place at Huntsville Granite and Marble on Memorial Parkway SW early that morning. Local reports revealed that a slab of granite fell on the victim. 

Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render the necessary aid. Despite life-saving measures, the injured party suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased victim was later identified as 32-year-old John Hopper by the Madison County coroner. No further updates on the deadly incident have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
