Cullman, AL (March 14, 2024) – Early on Wednesday, March 13, there were fatal injuries reported in a pileup collision in the Cullman area. The deadly accident was reported in Cullman County on Interstate 65 SB near mile marker 306 early that morning at around 4:56 a.m. Three or more vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.
Local reports indicated that a FedEx truck was blocking both lanes and the median of the interstate. All southbound lanes were temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased party was later identified as 53-year-old Methuselah Kadigi of Pelham. The area was later reopened after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. No further information has been provided at this time.
