Lawrence Co, AL (October 2, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred early Sunday morning resulting in the death of a man after being struck by a car. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the accident took place around 2:40 a.m. on Lawrence Co 209, approximately 10 miles east of Moulton.

Reports indicate that 31-year-old Matthew Anderson Ryan Kelley was lying in the roadway when he was hit by an unknown car. Unfortunately, the vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene, and Kelley was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities.
