Montgomery, AL (May 26, 2025) – A serious crash involving two pedestrians left one person dead and another critically hurt on May 24.
According to Montgomery police, the accident took place around 8:42 p.m. on the service road near the 900 block of E South Boulevard. Officers arrived to find two male pedestrians who had been struck by vehicles.
One man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Officials have not yet released the name of the person who died, as they are still notifying the family.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
