Mobile, AL – Man Killed in Crash on Old Pascagoula Rd at Sperry Rd

Mobile, AL (April 4, 2025) – A fatal car crash occurred early Thursday morning, April 3, on Old Pascagoula Road near Sperry Road, just two miles west of Mobile. The collision, which involved two cars, claimed the life of a 55-year-old man.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash happened at approximately 4:18 a.m. The victim, identified as James Wade, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.

Emergency crews, including local fire departments and paramedics, responded swiftly to the scene. Firefighters worked to extract the individuals from the wreckage while paramedics initiated lifesaving efforts. Unfortunately, Wade did not survive long enough to be transported to a hospital.
