Sylacauga, AL – Woman Dies in Motorcycle Crash on AL-21

Sylacauga, AL (April 15, 2024) – On Saturday, April 13, a woman was killed after a motorcycle crash outside of Sylacauga. The deadly accident was reported on AL-21 at around 5:50 p.m. Local reports revealed that a motorcycle and two passenger cars collided at the scene. 

It was later revealed that 47-year-old Patricia Garner of Valley Head was riding a Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla and a Honda Accord on the highway. The Honda then hit the Toyota. Garner suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
